This twelve fret to the body guitar was made for a fingerstyle guitarist
who wanted to create an intimate and old school picking sound with plenty
of sustain.
Designed jointly with the player, it features ladder bracing, a classical
style body, and a headstock found on some nineteenth century guitars.
The rosette is pearl and ebony diamonds, inlaid into a European spruce top.
The body wood is New Zealand grown Tasmanian blackwood, which produces a tone
similar to mahogany. The binding is rosewood with the fretboard and a traditional
nineteenth century bridge in ebony.
Price of instrument: NZ $3200 (convert
